The short version
Eight years, one direction
I wrote my first production C# in Casablanca in 2019. Every year since has moved me closer to the whole system: from shipping features, to designing them, to owning the platform and the people who build it. Seven companies, nine roles, one direction of travel.
The work I care about is the unglamorous kind that decides whether a product survives its second year. Access patterns settled before the first line of code. Cost understood before the invoice lands. Failure modes named before they wake anyone at three in the morning.
I would rather be trusted with the hard part than praised for the easy one.
